Hi, I'm Carlianne!
I'm a children’s book illustrator, author, and longtime lover of all things cute. I began my career working for Disney Interactive, where I was lucky enough to get paid to draw princesses every day. While I loved working in the studio world, I realized my true passion was creating art for children and helping others bring their own creative ideas to life.
That realization inspired me to leave my studio job and build my own creative career. Soon after, I published my first book, How to Draw Adorable, which has now sold over 40,000 copies and won five book awards.
Since then, I’ve illustrated and published several books, and I’m so excited to share everything I’ve learned throughout my career with you in Children’s Book Illustration Made Easy. This course is designed for artists who want to understand the process behind creating and illustrating a children’s book.
